Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet, propose to make the above Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 51 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers.
The general effect of the Orders will be to introduce amended and new parking bays into the Golders Green controlled parking zone in roads shown in the attached Schedules. The proposed changes covered by these Orders are shown on plan No. 16514/59B which will be on display at Golders Green library between 11th August 1999 and 4th September 1999.
The Barnet (Golders Green) (On-street Parking Places) (No. 1) (1998, No. 30) (Amendment No. ) Order 1999, introduces new and amended parking bays into roads shown in Schedule 1.
The Barnet (Free Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (1977), No. 46) (Amendment No. ) Traffic Order 1999, provides amended and additional parking bays for disabled drivers in Golders Green Road. It also revokes the existing disabled parking bays in The Riding.
The Barnet (Goods Vehicles) (Loading Places) (No. 2) (1998, No. 25) (Amendment No. ) Order 1999, introduces a new loading bay outside Nos. 124 and 126 Golders Green Road and revokes the existing loading bay outside Nos. 58 and 60 Golders Green Road.
The Barnet (Motorcycle Parking Places) (No. 1) (1998, No. 26) (Amendment No. ) Order 1999, introduces a new motor cycle bay outside No. 61 Golders Green Road and revokes the existing motorcycle bay outside No. 33 Golders Green Road.
The Barnet (Golders Green) (On-street Parking Places) (No. 1) (1998, No. 22) (Amendment No. ) Order 1999, introduces amended and new short stay pay and display parking bays into Golders Green Road. The Riding and Hodford Road.
Copies of the proposed Orders, a plan of the area and the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders, can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., on Mondays to Fridays inclusive (excluding Bank Holidays) until the expiration of a period of 28 days from the date on which the notice is published at: Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ and The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG.
