THE GREENWICH (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (NO. 91) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that Greenwich Council, hereinafter called the Council, on 21st July 1999, made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Order will be: (a) to prohibit vehicles, proceeding westward in Shooters Hill Road, from making a U-turn after passing the central reserve situated opposite Angerstein Lane; (b) to prohibit vehicles, proceeding westward in Shooters Hill Road, from turning right into Angerstein Lane; (c) to impose a compulsory left turn for vehicles proceeding in Angerstein Lane, on reaching its junction with Shooters Hill Road. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 21st July 1999, together with a plan showing the location and effects of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Engineering Services, Greenwich Council, Peggy Middleton House, 50 Woolwich New Road, Woolwich London SE18 6HQ, for 6 weeks following the date the Order was made and copies of the Order may be obtained from the same address. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order, or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
