THE BOROUGH OF STAFFORD (OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) (RIVERSIDE CAR PARK, STAFFORD) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that, on 25th June 1999, the Council made the above Order under section 35(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order will come into operation on 11th July 1999 and will control the parking place named in the Schedule to this notice which specifies the classes of vehicle which may use the parking place, the days and times of operation and the charges applicable. The Riverside Car Park will be open to public use from 4 p.m. Mondays to Fridays instead of 6 p.m. as at present. Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. the standard town centre short stay parking charges will apply. Six parking bays will be reserved during these hours for use by Council officials. The Order specifies the conditions under which the parking place may be used. A copy of the Order and map relating thereto are available for inspection at the Central Services Department, Civic Centre, Riverside, Stafford, where they may be examined during normal office hours. If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within 6 weeks from 25th June 1999, apply to the High Court for this purpose. Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Mondays to Fridays (other than Bank Holidays). 50p for 1 hour 70p for 2 hours (monthly tickets not valid). At any other time—no charge. Christmas Day—no charge.
