Notice of the making of the experimental Order was published on 20th January 1998. That Order will come into force on 28th May 1999, and the effect of that Order will be to continue in force indefinitely the provisions of the experimental Order. The road affected by the permanent Order is the A1 Upper Street in the London Borough of Islington. A copy of the permanent Order, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and a copy of the experimental Order, the variation Order and the modifications and any other Order revoked, suspended or varied by the permanent Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: The Traffic Director for London, College House, Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3LN; London Borough of Islington, Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, Islington, London N1 2UD. Any person desiring to question the validity of the permanent Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers, or that any of the relevant requirements have not been complied with in relation to that Order, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which that Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. D. Turner, Traffic Director for London 27th May 1999.
