NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Henry V Heading & Partners, of Frizzleton Farm, Bircham, Kings Lynn, Norfolk PE31 6ST, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from underground chalk at National Grid Reference TF 80653105 at Bircham, Norfolk. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 73 cubic metres per hour, 1,745 cubic metres per day, 123,300 cubic metres, between April and September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. This application is for a renewal of Licence 6/33/66/G/49 (which expires on 30th September 1999) with no increase in the annual abstraction. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Frizzleton Farm, Bircham, Kings Lynn, Norfolk, between 30th April and 30th May 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
