THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (1997, NO. 53) (AMENDMENT NO. 18) ORDER 1999

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have made on Tuesday, 9th March 1999, an Order under sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general nature and effect of the Order has been to amend the Barnet (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) Order 1997 to give permanent status to previous experimental waiting restrictions in the lengths of carriageway specified in the Schedule 1 to this notice and the previous experimental loading restrictions in the lengths of carriageway specified in the Schedule 2 to this notice. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Monday, 15th March 1999, a plan of the relevant area, a copy of the original Order and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays (Bank Holidays excepted) inclusive until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at: (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
