NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Mr. A. C. Hodge and Miss J. Pointer, trading as Willingcott Valley, of Willingcott Valley Cottages, Willingcott Village, Woolacombe, Devon EX34 7HN, are applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from boreholes into underground strata at National Grid Reference SS 4876 4292 and SS 4882 4288 at Willingcott Valley Cottages, Willingcott Village, Woolacombe, Devon EX34 7HN. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: maximum 20 cubic metres per day, 2,000 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for potable water supply to 24 holiday cottages (Nos. 21 to 44 inclusive, Willingcott Village). A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Reception, Willingcott Valley Cottages, Willingcott Village, Woolacombe, Devon EX34 7HN, between 4th March 1999 and 2nd April 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, South West Region (Devon Area), Exminster House, Miller Way, Exminster, Devon EX6 8AS, before the end of the said period.
