NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Warwickshire County Council Property Services Department, of PO Box 46, Warwick CV34 4RP, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Tributary of River Avon, between National Grid References SP 3973 and SP 3873, at Jubilee Pools, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Parish of Ryton-on-Dunsmore. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 300 cubic metres per day and 45,000 cubic metres per year between November and March each year. The water will be used for topping up fishing pools during the winter period. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Bailiffs Residence, Jubilee Cottage, Manor Farm, Ryton-on-Dunsmore, between 5th February 1999 and 12th March 1999. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Lower Severn Area, Riversmeet House, Newtown Industrial Estate, Northway Lane, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8JG, before the end of the said period.
