THE BARNET (BUS STOP CLEARWAY) (1998, NO. 1) (AMENDMENT NO.  ) TRAFFIC ORDER 199 

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 7(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and all other enabling powers. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to increase the operative hours of the exising bus stop clearways and to impose new bus stop clearways as shown in the appendices to this notice. A copy of the original and proposed Orders, a plan of the relevant area and the Council’s statements of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is pubished at: (a) Traffic Section, Room 1006, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ; (b) The Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the London Borough of Barnet (Traffic Secion), Telephone No. 0181 359-4352. Any person desiring to object and/or make other representations relating to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services (Traffic Section), London Borough of Barnet, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ, within the aforementioned period of 21 days. Proposed Bus Stop Clearways operative “At Any Time”. The specified lengths of road where buses can stop to enable passengers to board or alight. Ballards Lane, the south-east side: (a) between Christchurch Avenue and Granville Road; (b) between Montrose Crescent and Granville Road; (c) between Seymour Road and The Ridgeway. Ballards Lane, the north-west side: (a) between Brownlow Road and Essex Park; (b) between opposite Granville Road and Moss Hall Grove; (c) between Alexandra Grove and Hutton Grove; (d) between Nether Street (northern arm) and High Road, North Finchley. Brent Street, the south-west side: (a) between A406 North Circular Road and Shirehall Park; (b) between Shirehall Lane and Brent Green; (c) between Heriot Road and New Brent Street; (d) between Brampton Grove and Lodge Lane. Brent Street, the north-east side: (a) between Finchley Lane and Victoria Road; (b) between opposite New Brent Street and opposite Heriot Road; (c) between Green Lane and Woodburn Close; (d) between Woodburn Close and A406 North Circular Road. Church Road, the south side: (a) between Ravenshurst Avenue and opposite Church End. The Burroughs, the east side: (a) between Babington Road and Egerton Gardens; (b) between Brampton Grove and Watford Way. The Burroughs, the west side: (a) between opposite Babington Road and Church End; (b) between Burrough Gardens and St. Joseph’s Grove. Station Road, Hendon, the south-east side: (a) between Watford Way and opposite Edgeworth Avenue; (b) between opposite Faber Gardens and Vivian Avenue; (c) between Algernon Road and opposite Wilberforce Road; (d) between opposite Wilberforce Road and West Hendon Broadway. Station Road, Hendon, the north-west side: (a) between Wilberforce Road and the entrance to the car park of Hendon British Rail Station; (b) between Woodward Avenue and Faber Gardens; (c) between Edgeworth Avenue and Watford Way. Vivian Avenue, the south side: (a) between Hendon Way and Allington Road; (b) between Audley Road and Station Road, Hendon.
