THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO. 120) TRAFFIC ORDER 1998 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (BUS LANES) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 1998 THE LONDON BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK (RESTRICTION OF WAITING ON BUS STOPS) (NO. 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 1998

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Southwark on 10th December 1998 made the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. The general effect of the Orders would be to make permanent the provisons of the following Orders: (a) The London Borough of Southwark (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Experimental) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1997; (b) The London Borough of Southwark (Bus Lanes) (Experimental) (No. 1) Traffic Order 1997; (c) The London Borough of Southwark (Restriction of Waiting on Bus Stops) (Experimental) (No.1) Traffic Order 1997. A copy of the proposed Orders, which will come into operation on 7th January 1999, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays, inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published in the Council Offices, Chiltern, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES. A copy of the Orders and further information may be obtained from Matt Kent, Traffic and Transport, Southwark Regeneration and Environment, Council Offices, Chiltern, Portland Street, London SE17 2ES, telephone 0171-525 5468. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provisions contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
