Leeds City Council, Stopping-up of unnecessary Highways Lea Farm Walk (Part) and adjoining footpath Hawksworth Leeds 5

Notice is hereby given that Leeds City Council intend to apply to Leeds District Magistrates’ Court sitting at The Courthouse, Westgate, Leeds 1, on Thursday, 29th October 1998, at 2 p.m., for an Order under section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the stopping-up of the following sections of highway described in the Schedule hereto on the gound that they are unnecessary.   The sections of highway to be stopped up are shown by black hatching and a bold black line on the plan deposited at the offices of the Legal Services Agency, Leeds City Council, Room 213, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR, and may be inspected there, free of charge, during normal office hours.   Any person wishing to object to the proposal or make representations about it, may appear at the Leeds District Magistrates’ Court on the date aforesaid. Any person intending to appear before the Court at the hearing of the application is asked to notify the Leeds City Council, Legal Services Agency, Room 213, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR, (quoting Ref. Description of sections of highway to be stopped-up

   Lea Farm Walk (part), Hawksworth, Leeds 5, from a point 60 metres from its junction with Lea Farm Drive (between Nos. 148 and 150) for a distance of 13 metres (part closure).    Footpath, from its junction with Lea Farm Walk for a distance of 88 metres along the frontage of 15 to 45 Lea Farm Walk, back to its junction with Lea Farm Walk (total closure). 25th September 1998.
