Notice of application for consent

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the above Act that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by KAT Nuclear Joint Venture, Ashmore House, Richardson Road, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 3RE, to discharge a maximum of 497 cubic metres per day of treated trade effluent comprising construction site drainage and concrete batcing plant effluent at Construction Site No. 1, Sellafield, Seascale, Cumbria to the Irish Sea at National Grid Reference NY 2760 2890.
  Any person wishing to make representations about the application should do so in writing to Ian Walker, Authorisations Officer, Environment Agency, Customer Services Section, Ghyll Mount, Gillan Way, Penrith 40 Business Park, Penrith, Cumbria CA11 9BP, not later than 26th October 1998 quoting ref N/26/P/98.
  A copy of the application may be inspected, free of charge, at the office above between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. each day Monday to Friday.
