Notice of application for a licence to abstract water
Take notice that Greenwell Farms of Estate Office, Gedgrave Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk IP12 2BX, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from underground crag strata at National Grid Reference TM 4140 5171 at White Lodge, Sudbourne, Suffolk. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 60 cubic metres per hour, 1,204 cubic metres per day, 65,000 cubic metres between April and October each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. This application is to replace without change in quantities (or rates of abstraction) the abstraction authorised by Licence No. 7/35/05/G/074 which expires on 31st October 1998, and to amend without change in licence quantities the rate of abstraction authorised by Licences 7/35/05/034 and 7/35/05/056 from 17.8 litres per second to 30 litres per second. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and any other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Estate Office, Gedgrave Hall, Woodbridge, Suffolk, between 25th May 1998 and 22nd June 1998. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich, Suffolk 1P3 9JE, before the end of the said period.
