Notice of the issue of a submarine pipe-line works authorisation

The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that he has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, a works authorisation to be held by Elf Exploration UK plc, whose address is 30 Buckingham Gate, London SW1E 6NN, for the construction of a 558.1 millimetre liquids export pipe-line between a subsea isolation valve at the Elgin Field and a tie-in point on the BP operated Marnock ETAP pipe-line. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 558.1 millimetre pipe-line shall only be used to convey condensate. The pipe-line may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.
