Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Amec-Tarmac Joint Venture, of Altrincham Road, Styal, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 4LP, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 25 69 020 066 to abstract water from River Bollin, between National Grid References 8098 8274 and 8098 8292.
  The variation being applied for is to increase quantities to be extracted.
  A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at R2 Project Office, Altrincham Road, Styal, Wilmslow, Cheshire SK9 4LP, between 23rd April 1998 and 21st May 1998.
  Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Mirwell, Carrington Lane, Sale, Manchester M33 5NL, before the end of the said period.
