PETROLEUM AND SUBMARINE PIPE-LINES ACT 1975
Notice of the Issue of a Submarine Pipe-line Works Authorisation
The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry hereby gives notice that she has decided to issue, and in consequence has issued, three works authorisations to be held by Phillips Petroleum Company United Kingdom Limited whose registered office is Phillips Quadrant, 35 Guildford Road, Woking, Surrey GU22 7QT, for the construction of 2 x 219.1 millimetre production pipe-lines, a 114.3 millimetre gas lift pipe-line, a chemical injection umbilical and a 219.1 millimetre water injection pipe-line between the Renee field and the Amerada Hess operated AH-001 facility and a 219.1 millimetre production pipe-line, a 88.9 millimetre gas lift line and a chemical injection umbilical between the Rubie field and the Renee field. Except with the consent of the Secretary of State, the 219.1 millimetre production pipe-lines shall only be used to convey hydrocarbons, the 114.3 and 88.9 millimetre gas lift pipe-lines shall only be used to convey methanol and scale inhibitor and the 219.1 millimetre water injection pipe-line shall only be used to convey treated seawater. The pipe-lines may be used by the holder and with the holder’s agreement, and with the consent of the Secretary of State, by other persons.
