Various waiting restrictions

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Wandsworth, on 23rd March 1998, made the Wandsworth (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Areas) (Amendment No. 26) Order 1998 under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.   The general effect of the Order will be to relax certain restrictions and to introduce additional “yellow line” waiting restrictions at various locations in the Borough, as described in the Schedule to this notice.   A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 30th March 1998, and of documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order, including a drawing showing the location and effect of the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the end of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made at The Information Point, located in The Concourse, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU.   Copies of the Order may be obtained from the Council’s Administration Department, Room 153, The Town Hall, Wandsworth High Street, London SW18 2PU (telephone: 0181-871 7520).   Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements of that Act or of any relevant regulations made under that Act have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court. Battersea Church Road, S.W.11 The revocation of the existing restrictions on the north-west side, (outside the entrance to St. Marys Church) and the change in hours of the existing restrictions (from “At any time” to 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Saturday) on the south-east side, adjacent to Nos. 1 to 11 Sunbury Lane.
Bartholomew Close/ Garrick Close/Turenne Close, S.W.18 The introduction of “At any time” restrictions at the junction of Bartholomew Close/Garrick Close and Garrick Close/Turenne Close and on the bend in Garrick Close.
Holmbury Court, S.W.17 The introduction of “At any time” restrictions at the northern and southern entrance roads to the garages located at the rear of Holmbury Court.
Merton Road/Lebanon Gardens/Southfields Road, S.W.18 The introduction of “At any time” restrictions on the north-west side of Merton Road at its junctions with Lebanon Gardens and Southfields Road.
