Notice is hereby given that the Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Orders would be, in the City of Westminster, to: (a) return to two-way traffic working, that length of Marshall Street which lies between Broadwick Street and the vehicular access way to Stirling Court, Broadwick Street; (b) prohibit vehicles the overall width of which together with the load (if any) carried thereon exceeds 2.1 metres to enter that length of Marshall Street which lies between the said vehicular access way and a point 6.8 metres south-east thereof. 3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraphs 2(a) and (b) above would not apply to: (a) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; or (b) anything done in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Metropolitan Police. 4. The prohibition referred to in paragraph 2(b) above would also not apply to any vehicle being used for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes in an emergency. 5. Copies of the proposed Orders and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders can be inspected between 9 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Orders, in One Stop Services, City Hall, 64 Victoria Street, London SW1E 6QP. 6. Any objection or other representation about either of the proposed Orders should be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, The Project Centre Limited, 61-71 Collier Street, London N1 9BE, quoting the reference PCL/PC/LB32/141/1213 within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published.
