Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that Baxter Healthcare Limited, of Caxton Way, Thetford, Norfolk IP24 3SE, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 6/33/45/52 which authorises the abstraction of water from Chalk Aquifer at National Grid Reference TL 8578 8241, at Thetford Parish, in the district of Breckland, in the County of Norfolk. The variation being applied for is to make permanent the variation under the above licence number allowing not more than 700,000 cubic metres per year to be abstracted at rates not exceeding 2,000 cubic metres per day, and 109.1 cubic metres per hour on a permanent basis.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Baxter Healthcare Limited, Caxton Way, Thetford, between 9th March and 20th April 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Central Area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant. 10th March 1998.
