Notice of application to vary a licence to abstract water

Take notice that D. M. MacAlpine, c/o Ingham & Yorke, of Littlemoor, Clitheroe, Lancashire, is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 26/71/3.03/9 to abstract water from underground strata at National Grid Reference SD 813 525 at Tewitt Hall Farm, Bolton-by-Bowland, Clitheroe, Lancashire.   The variation being applied for is inclusion of properties not specified on existing licence and consumption of water for domestic purposes.   A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Tewitt Hall, Bolton-by-Bowland, Lancashire, between 30th January 1998 and 2nd March 1998.   Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Lutra House, Dodd Way, Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Preston PR5 8BX, before the end of the said period.
