Notice of Application for Consent to Construct and Operate a Wind Farm of Maximum Output 74.25MW

Land Adjacent to Afton Reservoir, 7.5km South of New Cumnock, East Ayrshire

Notice is hereby given that E.ON UK Renewables Limited, whose registered address is Westwood Way, Westwood Business Park, Coventry, CV4 8LG, has applied under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 for the consent of the Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a wind farm at Land adjacent to Afton Reservoir, 7.5km South of New Cumnock, East Ayrshire (grid reference at the site centre: NS 627 042). The Afton Wind Farm development would have a maximum electrical output of 74.25MW.

E.ON UK Renewables Limited has also applied for a direction under Section 57(2) of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 that planning permission for the development be deemed to be granted.

A copy of the application and a plan showing the land to which it relates, together with a copy of the Environmental Statement accompanying the application, explaining the Company’s proposals in more detail and presenting an analysis of the implications, with a summary thereof, are available for inspection during normal working hours at:
