Notice of Borrow Pit Addendum and Minor Changes to the Environmental Statement accompanying the Application for consent to construct and operate a 322 MW Windfarm at Whitelee Forest, South of Glasgow
Notice is hereby given that CRE Energy (a wholly owned subsidiary of ScottishPower) whose registered address is ScottishPower UK plc, 1 Atlantic Quay, Glasgow, G2 8SP and who have applied under Section 36 of the Electricity Act, 1989 for the consent of the Scottish Ministers to construct and operate a windfarm at Whitelee Forest, south of Glasgow (grid reference at the site centre: NS 574 457), have submitted supplementary information to the Scottish Ministers which forms a Borrow Pit Addendum and a document incorporating Minor Changes to the Whitelee Windfarm Environmental Statement.
Copies of the supplementary information together with the Environmental Statement and the associated application, explaining the Company’s proposals in more detail are available for inspection during normal working hours at:

Copies of the Borrow Pit Addendum and Minor Changes document are available for purchase at a price of £150, a full set of the Environmental Statement is available for purchase at a price of £200 from ScottishPower, Strategic Transactions, Cathcart Business Park, Spean Street, Glasgow, G44 4BE. Non-Technical Summaries are available free of charge from ScottishPower by phoning 0141 568 4418/4419.
Any representations should be made in writing to Lesley Thomson at the Scottish Executive, Enterprise & Lifelong Learning Department, Consents & Emergency Planning Unit, Meridian Court, 5 Cadogan Street, Glasgow, G2 6AT, stating the name of the project and the grounds for representation. You can also send representations by email to lesley.thomson@scotland.gsi.gov.uk Representations are invited by the 27th November 2003. Representations will be copied to the relevant Councils unless individuals expressly state otherwise. Copies of the addendum and minor changes document will be available to view at the Scottish Executive Library at Saughton House, Broomhouse Drive, Edinburgh.
