The Stopping-Up of Roads (South Lanarkshire Council - Mavor Avenue, East Kilbride) Order
South Lanarkshire Council hereby give notice that they have made an Order under Section 207 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act 1997 authorising the stopping-up of a length of road at Mavor Avenue, East Kilbride the length of road to be stopped-up measuring one hundred and seventy (170) metres or thereby an shown zebra hatched on the plan annexed and executed as relative to the above Order. The Council are about to submit the Order for confirmation or to confirm it as an unopposed Order. The Order will not take effect unless confirmed.
Copies of the Order and relevant plan specifying the length of road to be stopped-up may be inspected free of charge by any person at the following offices during the period commencing 10th July 2003 and ending on 7th August 2003.

Any objections to or representations against the Order must be made in writing, stating the name of the Order and the grounds for objection thereto and sent to Executive Director, Enterprise Resources, South Lanarkshire Council, Montrose House, 154 Montrose Crescent, Hamilton by 7th August 2003.
