ROADS (SCOTLAND) ACT 1984

THE ANGUS COUNCIL (A92 DUNDEE - ARBROATH DUALLING) (REDETERMINATION OF EXERCISE OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF PASSAGE) (AMENDMENT No 1 - VICTORIA STREET, MONIFIETH) ORDER 2003

Notice is hereby given that the Angus Council propose to make an Order under sections 1(1) and 152(2) of the Roads (Scotland) Act 1984 for the redetermination of exercise of the public right of passage described in the Schedule hereto.

The title of the Order is “The Angus Council (A92 Dundee - Arbroath Dualling) (Redetermination of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) (Amendment No 1 - Victoria Street, Monifieth) Order 2003.”

A copy of the proposed Order and of the accompanying plans showing redetermination of exercise of the public right of passage together with a Statement of the Reasons for making the Order have been deposited at the offices of Angus Council at St James House, St James Road, Forfar (Planning Reception) and at the Monifieth Library, 48/50 High Street, Monifieth. Those documents are available for inspection free of charge as follows: at St James House (Planning Reception) on Mondays to Fridays inclusive between the house of 9am and 5pm and at the Monifieth Library on Mondays between the hours of 9.30am and 7.30pm, Tuesdays from 10am to 5pm, Wednesdays 9.30am to 7.30pm, Thursdays 9.30am to 1pm, Fridays 9.30am to 7.30pm and Saturdays 9.30am to 1pm.

Any person may, within 28 days from 6th June 2003, object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to the Director of Law and Administration, Angus Council, St James House, St James Road, Forfar DD8 2ZE. Objections should state the name and address of the objector, the matter to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.

The Order referred to in this Notice amends the Schedule to The Angus Council (A92 Dundee - Arbroath Dualling) (Redetermination of Exercise of Public Right of Passage) Order 2002 (hereinafter referred to as the “2002 Order”) in the manner following:

The redetermination of the public right of passage in respect of the U305 Victoria Street in Monifieth specified in paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the 2002 Order is hereby revoked.
