THE GENERAL REGISTER OFFICE (FEES) ORDER (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2014

The Department of Finance and Personnel has made a Statutory Rule entitled “The General Register Office (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014” (SR 2014 No.71), which comes into operation on 31st March 2014.

This Order provides for the various fees payable in relation to birth, death, marriage and civil partnership searches and certificates and for formalities in connection with marriages and civil partnerships. It also includes fees for new services included in the Civil Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 2011, which will facilitate the searching of GRO records.
