The Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008

Notice is hereby given that the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by Articles 50 and 51 of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 has made a statutory rule entitled the Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2008.

The Order amends the Schedule to the Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 (S.R. No. 494), which lists those public bodies who are to be regarded as public authorities for the purposes of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998.

This Order comes into operation on 1 January 2009. Copies of the Order S.R. 2008 No. 480 may be purchased from the Stationery Office Bookshop, 16 Arthur Street, Belfast BT1 4GD.
