Roshure Road, Desertmartin: Abandonment

The Department for Regional Development being of the opinion that the road is no longer necessary for road traffic proposes to make an Order under Article 68 of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993, the effect of which would be to abandon an area of 2987 square metres of road, mainly comprising grass verge, fronting Nos. 21 and 23 Roshure Road, in the townland of Roshure, Desertmartin, County Londonderry.

The area of road proposed to be abandoned is delineated on a map which, together with a copy of a draft of the order, may be inspected by any person free of charge at all reasonable hours during the period from 31 October 2007 to 14 December 2007 at the Department’s Roads Services offices, Headquarters, Room 201, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB;Western Division, Boaz House, 15 Scarffe’s Entry, Omagh, BT79 1JE and Magherafelt Section Office, 30 Station Road, Magherafelt, BT45 5DN.

Any person may within the said period object to the proposal by written notice to Roads Service Western Division, Boaz House at the address above stating the grounds of objection.
