The Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007

The Department for Regional Development has made a Statutory Rule entitled The Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007. These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 107 and 109 of the Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006.

These Regulations replace the Water Supply (Water Quality) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 and the Water Supply (Water Quality) (Amendment) Regulations 2003.

It is necessary to make these Regulations to reflect the change in the provision of water and sewerage services as set out in the Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006.

The Regulations will come into operation on 1st April 2007.
