THE BROMLEY (CONTROLLED PARKING) (ON STREET PLACES) ORDER 2004 (AMENDMENT NO.153) ORDER 2025

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley on 2nd December 2025 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and all other enabling powers. The Order will come into operation on 17th December 2025

The effect of the Orders would be to:

Convert the existing Resident Permit Holder bays in CPZ Zone U, Pay by Phone bays and Free Parking bays to Shared-Use Resident Permit Holder and Pay by Phone bays as set out in the Schedule to this Notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Order.

Copies of the Order may be inspected by during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at Bromley Council, Churchill Court, Westmoreland Road, Bromley BR1 1AS, or by emailing TrafficManagementOrders@Bromley.gov.uk until the expiration of a period of 6 weeks from the date of the making the Order.

ANY person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of their provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the relevant enabling Act or that any requirement of any such enabling Act or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.

SCHEDULE : -

Shared-Use Resident Permit Holder and Pay by Phone – Operational between 8.30am and 6.30pm. Monday to Saturday inclusive. Pay by Phone Max Stay: 2 hours

ALBANY ROAD, CHISLEHURST: (a) the southeast side (i) from a point opposite the northeastern wall of No.35 Albany Road south westward for a distance of 14m. (ii) from a point 3.9m northeast of the southwestern boundary of No.82 Chislehurst High Street north eastward for a distance of 24.4m.

ALEXANDER ROAD, CHISLEHURST: (a) the southeast side (i) from a point 11m southwest of the southwestern kerbine of Green Lane to the northeastern boundary of No. 1 Alexander Road (b) the northwest side (i) from a point 22m northeast of the northeastern kerbline of Adelaide Road north eastward for a distance of 15m.

EDWARDS ROAD, CHISLEHURST: (a) the northwest side (i) from a point opposite the northeastern wall of No. 63 Green Lane south-westward for a distance of 15.5m (b) the southeast side (i) from a point 5m of the southwestern kerbline of Green Lane south-westward for a distance of 22m.

QUEENS ROAD, CHISLEHURST: (a) the southwest side (i) from a point 7.4m southeast of a point opposite the northwestern wall of No.22 Park Road south-westward for a distance of 4.7m.
