INTENDED SHARED SURFACE BAYHAM ROAD, GREEN MAN PASSAGE, WITHAM ROAD & RAISED TABLE WITHAM ROAD.

THE EALING (PARKING PLACES) (PAY AND DISPLAY / TELEPHONE PARKING) (SINGAPORE ROAD ) (NO.1, 2014) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202*;

THE EALING (PRESCRIBED ROUTES) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) (NO. ***) ORDER 202*;

THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. ***) ORDER 202*.

1. NOTICE IS GIVEN The London Borough of Ealing that they have proposed the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

2. The general effect of the proposed Orders would be to: -

(1) amend the Ealing (Off Street Parking Places) (No. 1) Order 2016, by adding ‘Authorised Disabled badge holders and permit holders ’ to item 29 of the Schedule to that Order;

(2) within Witham Road car park convert a number of parking bays to disabled bays;

(3) on Witham Road, the north side (adjacent to Witham Car park) to substitute one pay by phone parking bay with double yellow lines;

(4) on Witham Road, at its junction with Green Man Passage impose a no entry except cycles (eastbound prohibited).

3. FURTHER NOTICE IS GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing in exercise of the powers under the Highways Act 1980 intends to on (a) Bayham Road (its north-western end); (b) Green Man Passage (Broadway to Bayham Road); (c) Witham Road (Access Road to Witham Car Park and Bedford Road), convert sections of the footway to a shared surface for cycling and pedestrian traffic.

4. FURTHER NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing Council, intends to install a raised table on Green Man Passage at its junction with Witham Road. The raised table, with a maximum plateau length of 5.0m, a maximum height of 100 mm and a maximum ramp gradient of 1 in 15.

5. The intention and proposal, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by inspection at Staff Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made, or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

6. Any objections or other representations about either of the intended crossings, or the proposed Orders should be sent in writing by e-mail to ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or by post to Highways Service, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL, quoting reference P069-25 until the 7 January 2026. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should include the address of the author.
