FORTY HILL AREA - PROPOSED CONTROLLED PARKING ZONE (CPZ)
PROVISION OF PERMIT HOLDER, SHARED USE (PERMIT HOLDER AND PAID LIMITED WAITING), STOP AND SHOP PARKING PLACES AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (the Council) propose to make The Enfield (Parking Places) (Forty Hill) (No. *) Traffic Order 202*, The Enfield (Stop and Shop Parking Places) (No. *) Traffic Order 202* and The Enfield (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be to introduce a new controlled parking zone (CPZ) in Forty Hill (FH Zone) operating Monday to Sunday between 9am and 6:30pm comprising:
(1) double yellow line waiting restrictions in Forty Hill, Garnault Road, Goat Lane, Old Forge Road, Russell Road, and St. George’s Road.
(2) single yellow line waiting restrictions, permit holder parking places, shared use (permit holder and 2 hours, no return in 1 hour paid limited waiting) parking places in Forty Hill, Garnault Road, Goat Lane, Old Forge Road, Russell Road, and St. George’s Road.
(3) free 30-minute stop and shop parking places, no return in 2 hours in Garnault Road and Forty Hill Road.
(4) The annual permit charges would be:

3. A copy of the proposed Orders and other documents giving detailed particulars about them can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive, or online at: https://new.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders/ or
can also be obtained by emailing journeysandplaces@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to the Journeys and Places Team (quoting reference TG52/1589A) Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD).
4. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Orders or make any other representations must do so by midnight on 20 July 2025. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1589A, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
