LONDON BOROUGH OF BRENT

THE BRENT (BUS PRIORITY) (CONSOLIDATION) (AMENDMENT NO. *) TRAFFIC ORDER 202*

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the ‘bus priority’ Order would be to extend the operational hours of the existing bus lane in Empire Way, the north-west side, from ‘7.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m. and 4.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m. throughout the week’ to ‘7.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. throughout the week’ on non-event days.

3. A copy of the proposed Order, of the relevant Order of 2017 (and of any Orders which have amended that Order), of the Council's statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a map which indicates the length of road to which the Order relate can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order are made or the Council decides not to make the Order at Brent Customer Services, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ.

5. Persons desiring to make representations or to object to the proposed Order, or to the proposal, send a statement in writing of their representations or objections, and the grounds thereof, via email to trafficorders@brent.gov.uk, or in writing to the Head of Healthy Streets and Parking, Healthy Streets and Parking Service, 6th Floor West Wing, Brent Civic Centre, Engineers Way, Wembley, Middlesex, HA9 0FJ, quoting the reference TO/06/056/JH, to arrive no later than 21 days from the date of publication of this notice.
