THE EALING (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 900) ORDER 2024

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing (“the Council”) made the above Orders under sections 6 and 124 of and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. 185) Traffic Order 2024 will be to exempt pedal cyclists from the one-way working for vehicles in Gunnersbury Crescent.

3. The general effect of the Ealing (Prescribed Routes) (No. 186) Traffic Order 2024 will be to create a pedal cycle route through the closure at the south-western extremity of Mill Hill Terrace and the north-eastern extremity of Mill Hill Road.

4. The general effect of the Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. 900) Order 2024 will be to introduce waiting restrictions which apply at any time on the full lengths of Davenant Way.

5. With regards to paragraph 4 to this Notice, the remaining proposals published on 11th October 2023 for the following Orders has been deferred: The Ealing (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (Special Parking Area) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; The Ealing (West Ealing) (Residents Parking Places) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*; and The Ealing (Free Parking Places) (No. 1, 2014) (Amendment No. ***) Order 202*.

6. The Orders, which will come into operation on 8 May 2024, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from ‘trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk’ or for inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this Notice.

7. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Orders.
