TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (CONTROL OF ADVERTISEMENTS) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2007
REGULATION 7 DIRECTION RESTRICTING DEEMED CONSENT
The Secretary of State for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities is satisfied, upon a proposal made to him by Leicester City Council, as the local planning authority, that the display of advertisements relating to the letting of residential land or premises as specified within Class 3A, Part 1, Schedule 3 to the 2007 Regulations should not be undertaken without express consent in parts of Leicester, namely:
Windermere, Hazel, Clarendon Park, Greenhill, West End, Ashleigh Road, West End Conservation Area.
The proposal has been publicly advertised and representations made to the Secretary of State in accordance with provisions of the Regulations.
The Direction comes into effect on 21st May 2024 and shall remain in force for five years.
More details, the Direction and maps defining the areas subject to the Direction may be inspected at the Customer Service Centre, 91 Granby Street, Leicester LE1 6FB on any working day between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Friday and are available on the Council’s website at https://www.leicester.gov.uk/letboards.
