The Secretary of State gives notice of an Order made under Section 247 of the above Act entitled "The Stopping up of Highway (North West) (No.12) Order 2024" authorising the stopping up of a length of Back Callis Road in Bolton. This is to enable development as permitted by Bolton Council, under reference 15084/22.

Copies of the Order may be obtained, free of charge, from the Secretary of State, National Transport Casework Team, Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Business Park, Newcastle upon Tyne NE4 7AR or nationalcasework@dft.gov.uk (quoting NATTRAN/NW/S247/5556). They may also be inspected during normal opening hours at Department of Place, Highways and Engineering Division, Asset Management, Design and Construction, 3rd Floor, Paderborn House, Howell Croft North, Bolton, BL1 1UA.

Any person who wishes to challenge the validity of the decision to make the Order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks from 15 March 2024.
