PROPOSED INTRODUCTION OF OFF-STREET PERMIT PARKING CONTROLS AT PALMERS GREEN LIBRARY CAR PARK

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Enfield (‘the Council’) propose to make the Enfield (Off-Street Parking Places) (Amendment No. *) Order 202* under sections 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the 1984 Act’), as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to implement off-street permit-holder only parking controls in Palmers Green Library off-street car park N13 which would be operational during the following days and times

; i) 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays;

ii) 9 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. on Fridays;

iii) 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturdays.

The permits would allow for a maximum stay of 2 hours during the days and times stated within 2i, 2ii, 2iii of this notice.

Permits will be available free of charge via application within the Palmers Green Library N13 during the days and times stated within 2i, 2ii and 2iii of this notice.

3. A copy of the proposed Order, plans and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected at the Town Library, 66 Church Street, Enfield EN2 6AX, Monday to Fridays 9am – 5pm inclusive. The notice, draft order, and statement of reasons can also be inspected online at: https://www.enfield.gov.uk/services/roads-and-transport/traffic-management-orders and at Palmers Green Library.

4. Copies of the notice, draft orders and Statement of Reasons can also be obtained by emailing traffic@enfield.gov.uk or by writing to the Head of Highways, Traffic and Parking (quoting reference TG52/1554) at Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex, EN1 3XD.

5. Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order or make any other representations must do so by 10 January 2023. Any such objection or any representation must be in writing, quoting reference TG52/1554, and must state the grounds on which it is made. Objections or representations can be made in any of the following ways:
