2. The general effect of the Order, which will come into effect on 13th September 2023, will be to introduce a new controlled parking sub-zone to be known as Zone “OO” CPZ in Hunt Close and Swanscombe Road.

3. This will include the introduction of shared-use pay by phone and permit parking places for vehicles where the driver has paid the parking charge by phone or for vehicles that display either a resident’s permit, a business permit or a resident visitor permit in Hunt Close and Swanscombe Road. No changes are proposed to the on street layout and resident permit holders for Zone “O” CPZ would still be permitted to park in Zone “O”.

4. The new sub-zone “OO” will operate on Mondays to Sundays between 9am and 10pm with a maximum stay period of 2 hours and no return within 1 hour.

During the off-peak period of Monday to Saturday 6pm to 10pm and all day on a Sunday, residents’ visitors using the RVP would park for free until April 2024, but must activate a parking session using the RVP.

6. For a period of 6 weeks from the day on which the Orders are made, a copy of all Orders and a copy of the Councils statement of reasons for making the Order and documents giving more detailed particulars of the Order can be inspected by requesting a copy in writing to Traffic Orders, Parking Services, Environmental Services, Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith, W6 9JU or via email to Traffic.Orders@lbhf.gov.uk,

7. If any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of the provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under that Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
