NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

In accordance with section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, notice is hereby given that the One Stop Stores Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) commenced winding up with effect from 29 April 2021.

One Stop Stores Trustee Services Limited, as trustee of the Scheme (the “Trustee”) wishes to contact anyone who believes that they may be entitled to benefits from the Scheme and has not been told that the Scheme is being wound up.

For the avoidance of doubt, this notice will not be relevant to anyone who was transferred to the Tesco PLC Pension Scheme in 2009 or transferred out of the Scheme to the One Stop Retirement Savings Plan with Legal & General during 2020; those former members no longer have any entitlement under the Scheme.

The Trustee requests that any member, other beneficiary, creditor or anyone else having any claim against, or claiming to be beneficially interested in, the assets of the Scheme sends written details of their claim to the Trustee on or before 31 August 2021 at the following postal or e-mail address:

When writing to the Trustee, please provide the full name, address, date of birth, national insurance number, former employer name(s) and employment dates for the person concerned.

After 31 August 2021, the Trustee will complete the winding of the Scheme and, in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which it has had notice on or before that date. The Trustee shall not be liable to anyone of whose claim it has had no notice before that date.
