The Scheme was established in March 2005 to provide broadly comparable benefits to individuals whose employment was compulsorily transferred from the public sector in connection with the outsourcing of certain public sector functions. Some members of the Scheme may not recognise the name RR Donnelley and may be more familiar with the previous name of the Astron Group Pension Scheme, which was the name of the Scheme until 1 October 2007.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the wind-up of the Scheme commenced on 24 July 2020 following the transfer of the assets and liabilities of the Scheme to another pension scheme operated by the RR Donnelley Group (the e-doc group Pension Scheme). Through this notice the Trustees are aiming to establish whether there are any missing beneficiaries of whom the Trustees are unaware.

You should therefore contact the Trustees if you believe you may be a missing beneficiary. You would need to be:

• an employee or former employee of either RR Donnelley Global Document Solutions Group Limited (formerly known as Astron Group Limited) or RR Donnelley Business Process Outsourcing Limited who believes that he or she is still a member of the Scheme (and in particular has not transferred the Scheme benefit to another pension arrangement), or

• a person who believes themselves to be a beneficiary of the Scheme as the spouse or dependent of a deceased member of the Scheme, or

• any other person who believes they have a claim against or an interest in the Scheme.

Please include your name, National Insurance number, current address and details of your claim. You must contact the Trustees within 2 months of the date of publication of this notice. After the expiry of the 2 month period, the Trustees will proceed to wind-up the Scheme having regard only to claims of which they then have notice. The Trustees will not be liable to any person of whose claim they have not had notice.
