THE EALING (PARKING PLACES) (TELEPHONE PARKING) (HANWELL STATION - ZONE H1) (AMENDMENT NO. 1) ORDER 2020
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the London Borough of Ealing (“the Council”) on the 8th September made the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49, 63 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Bikehanger Order will be to provide
(a) for the installation of bikehangers in Argyle Road, Billetts Hart Close. Buckingham Close, Cumberland Road, Fletcher Road, Lawn Gardens and Mansell Road.
Bikehangers are secure shelters for bicycles that are 2.6 metres long and 2 metres wide.
3. The general effect of the Parking Places Orders will be, in connection with the provision of the bikehangers, to
(a) revise an NN zone permit parking place in Argyle Road to accommodate a bikehanger;
(b) revise a K1 zone permit parking place in Cumberland Road to accommodate a bikehanger;
(c) revise a H1 zone share use pay by phone/permit parking place in Lawn Gardens to accommodate a bikehanger;
(d) revise an M zone permit parking place in Fletcher Road to accommodate a bikehanger
4. The Orders, which will come into operation on 10th September 2020, other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders including plans, are available by e-mail from trafficnotices@ealing.gov.uk or by inspection at Customer Services Reception, Perceval House, 14-16 Uxbridge Road W5 2HL between 9:00am and 4:45pm on Monday to Friday, until the 20th October 2020.
5. Any person desiring to question the validity of any of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that they are not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any relevant requirements thereof or any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may make application for the purpose to the High Court by the 8th September 2020.
