THE LONDON BOROUGH OF TOWER HAMLETS (MILLENNIUM GREEN EAST) COMPULSORY PURCHASE ORDER 2019
1. Notice is hereby given that the London Borough of Tower Hamlets made on 22nd October 2019 the London Borough of Tower Hamlets (Millennium Green East) Compulsory Purchase Order 2019 under [section 226 (1) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990]. It is about to submit this order to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government for confirmation, and if confirmed, the order will authorise the London Borough of Tower Hamlets to purchase compulsorily land and interests within the land described below for the purpose of the redevelopment and regeneration of the Millennium Green East area.
2. A copy of the order, the accompanying map, the Statement of Reasons and the background documents may be seen at all reasonable hours at the offices of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets at The Town Hall, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, London, E14 2BG between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and on the Council’s website www.towerhamlets.gov.uk
3. Any objections to the order must be made in writing to the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government at National Planning Casework Unit, 5 St Philip’s Place, Colmore Row, Birmingham, B3 2PW before 11th November 2019 and should state the title of the order, the grounds of objection and the objector’s address and interests in the land.
