WHEREAS DORCHESTER HOMES LIMITED, a company incorporated under the Companies Acts under Company number SC126576 was dissolved on 29 October 2004; AND WHEREAS in terms of section 654 of the Companies Act 1985 all property and rights whatsoever vested in or held on trust for a dissolved company immediately before its dissolution are deemed to be bona vacantia; AND WHEREAS it has been presented to me that immediately before its dissolution the said Dorchester Homes Limited remained heritably vest in subjects in the vicinity of Lady Place, Livingston and forming ALL and WHOLE that plot or area of ground extending to 1.88 hectares or thereby metric measure lying immediately to the west and in part to the north of housing developments known as Primrose Place and Ladywood Place respectively and to the South of a tree belt known as Newyearfield Strip and being the subjects in feu farm disponed under Feu Contract containing Feu Disposition by Livingston Development Corporation in favour of the said Dorchester Homes Limited dated 31 August and 19 November and recorded in the Division of the General Register of Sasines for West Lothian on 7 December all dates in the year 1990 and under exception of all subjects disponed or otherwise conveyed by the said Dorchester Homes Limited prior to its said dissolution; AND WHEREAS the dissolution of the said Dorchester Homes Limited came to my notice on 3 April 2019: Now THEREFORE I, DAVID BRYCE HARVIE, the Queen’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer, in pursuance of section 1013 of the Companies Act 2006, do by this Notice disclaim the Crown’s whole right and title in and to the aforesaid heritable property.
