THE TOWER HAMLETS (WAITING AND LOADING) (NO.1) ORDER 2015 (AMENDMENT NO. 37) ORDER 2018
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on 2nd August 2018 made the above-mentioned Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended.
2. The general effect of the Orders would be:
a) To introduce no waiting at any time (double yellow lines)
i) Across the entrance to Penny Estate and the rear access to Summer House
ii) Either side of the junction with Compton Close
iii) To protect dropped kerbs opposite Compton Close and outside Saints Court
iv) Across the entrance to David Hewitt House carpark
v) Either side of the entrance to David Hewitt Estate and south to the southern end at Anchor Wharf
vi) Across the dropped kerbs outside Bow Exchange and Tallow Court
vii) On the west side of the entrance to Caspian Wharf
viii) On both sides of Glaucus Street protecting existing dropped kerbs
ix) On Glaucus Street either side of the junction with Pankhurst Avenue
x) On Glaucus Street outside No 5/13 Glaucus Street
b) To introduce no waiting at any time (double yellow lines ) with no loading at any time (double kerb blips)
i) On the east side of Watts Grove at the junction with Devons Road
ii) Either side of the junction with Yeo Street (except 6 metres south of parking bay to the north of Yeo Street)
iii) On both sides of Yeo Street at the junction with Watts Grove
iv) At the junction with Glaucus Street and Yeo Street
v) At the junction with Maddams Street and Glaucus Street
vi) On the inside kerb of Glaucus Street to the east of No 44 Glaucus Street
vii) On both sides of Yeo Street at the junction with Violet Road
viii) On the west side of Violet Road from the junction with Yeo Street to the Limehouse Cut
c) Introduce new residents and permit bays
i) On the south side of Yeo Street
ii) On both sides of Glaucus Street north of Yeo Street
iii) On the west side of Glaucus Street south of Pankhurst Avenue
iv) Outside No 36/40 Glaucus Street
v) On the north side of Glaucus Street outside No 5/13 Glaucus Street
3. A copy of the Orders, which will come into operation on 2nd of August 2018, and all relevant documents can be inspected, by prior appointment, at the Parking & Mobility Services Offices, 585-593 Commercial Road, London E1 0HJ (020 7364 6949), during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays excluding bank and public holidays until the end of six weeks from the date on which the Orders were made.
4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, or that at any relevant requirements thereof or any regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Orders may, within six weeks of the date on which the Orders were made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
