LONDON BOROUGH OF BARKING AND DAGENHAM (MORDEN ROAD, DAGENHAM) (BANNED TURN) ORDER 2018
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham in exercise of its powers under sections 6 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended (hereinafter called “the Act”) and all other enabling legislation and powers and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the Act made the above Orders, the effect of which will be to introduce;
1. One-Way with Contra-flow Cycle Lane for vehicles travelling eastbound on Morden Road, from a point 7.5 metres west of its junction with Whalebone Lane South to its junction with Whalebone Lane South.
2. Prohibition of Right Turn from Morden Road in to Whalebone Lane South.
A copy of each Order, which will come into force on Thursday 26 April 2018, and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Orders are available for inspection for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at the Planning Application desk, Town Hall, Barking between the hours of 9.00am and 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that they are not within the powers of the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or any Regulations under it have not been complied with may do so within six weeks of the made date of the Order by applying to the High Court.
