NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO APPLY FOR AN ORDER
AUTHORISING THE STOPPING UP OF PASSAGEWAY NEAR
LAIRD STREET AND MILNER STREET, BIRKENHEAD, WIRRAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wirral Borough Council as the Highway Authority for the highway described in the Schedule intends to apply to the Wirral Borough Magistrates’ Court, sitting at Chester Street, Birkenhead, Wirral on 2 July 2013 at 9.45 am for an Order under Section 116 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the highway described in the Schedule to be stopped up on the grounds that the said highway is unnecessary. The highway to be stopped up is shown hatched black on the plan deposited at the One Stop Shop, Town Hall, Brighton Street, Wallasey and may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours.
Any person who would be aggrieved by the making of the Order to be applied for may attend before the Court during the hearing of the application and shall have the right to be heard.

Lengths of unadopted highway to be stopped up:
A passageway which is unadopted highway which runs from point C to point D in an easterly direction for approximately 15 metres as indicated on map reference SJB/MEP/126/B.
Width of footpaths to be stopped up - approximately 3 metres.
