THE BARNET (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AREA)

(AMENDMENT NO. 67) TRAFFIC ORDER 2013

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet have on the 9 th May 2013 made the above-mentioned Order under Sections 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers

The general effect of the Order will be to enable the Council to introduce measures on street which will facilitate daily loading and unloading activity to take place outside retail premises on Regents Park Road N3 and Vivian Avenue NW4, as follows:

6am to 8am and 8pm to 10pm Monday to Sunday waiting restrictions will be provided on a certain length of Regents Park Road N3, outside Nos. 349 to 357 Regents Park Road, and;

7am to 9am and 5.30pm to 7.30pm waiting restrictions will be provided on a certain length of Vivian Avenue NW4, outside Nos. 62 to 66 Vivian Avenue.

The new waiting restrictions would be placed within certain lengths of existing Pay by Phone parking places, but would not impact on the operation of the bays.

A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on Tuesday 28 th May 2013, plans of the relevant areas and the Council’s Statement of Reasons for making the Order can be inspected between 9am and 5pm on Mondays to Fridays (Public and Bank Holidays excepted) for a period of 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is published at:

  • a The Design Team, Building 4, North London Business Park, Oakleigh Road South, London, N11 1NP.
  • b Hendon Town Hall, Reception, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BG

Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of their provisions on the grounds that the Order is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any regulations made thereunder have not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within six weeks of the date on which the Order was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
