STOPPING UP OF PROGRESS STREET (PART) AND UN-NAMED STREET, BOLTON
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Bolton intends to apply to the Bolton Magistrates Court sitting at the Court House, Civic Centre, Bolton on the 19 th day of April 2013 at the hour of ten o’clock in the morning for an Order authorising the stopping-up of highways known as:
Progress Street (Part), Bolton from a point approximately 25.5 metres north-west of its junction with Blackburn Road, for a distance of approximately 12.5 metres, a strip of footway and carriageway at a width of 3.2 metres in a north-westerly direction, then for its full width for a distance of approximately 25 metres in a north-westerly direction to its end. A total length of 37.5 metres
Un-named street, Bolton, from its junction with Back Progress Street, for a distance of approximately 11.5 metres, in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Progress Street, for its full width. A total distance of 11.5 metres
on the grounds that the said highways are unnecessary.
The effect of the said Order is shown on the plan which may be inspected free of charge at Environmental Services, Highways and Engineering Delivery Services, 4th Floor The Wellsprings, Civic Centre, Bolton BL1 1US between the hours of 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. on weekdays.
