THE NEWHAM (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO. ) TRAFFIC ORDER 20**
- 1 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham proposes to make the above mentioned Orders under Sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
- 2 The general effect of the Disabled Persons Orders would be to amend the Newham (Free
Parking Places) (Disabled Persons) (No. 1) Order 2011 and to further amend the Newham
(Disabled Persons) (Community Parking) (Special Parking Area) (No. 1) Order 2007 so
as to:—
- a designate a parking place outside each of the following locations:
Andover Avenue E16 (outside No. 13 Bering Walk); Nos. 11/12 Burrard Road E16; Nos. 80/82 Butchers Road E16; No. 9 Cave Road E13; No. 176 Central Park Road E6; No. 88 Chesterford Road E12; Nos. 1-6 Church Street E16; No. 23 Creighton Avenue E6; No. 44 Durham Road E16; No. 14 First Avenue E12; No. 161 Folkestone Road E6; Nos. 17/57 and 19/59 Fowler Road E7; Nos. 65/67 Frinton Road E6; No. 181 Grange Road E13 (2 wheels on the footway); Nos. 19/21 Hartington Road E16; Nos. 120 to 151 Hathaway Crescent E12 (2 wheels on the footway); Nos. 22/24 Hatherley Gardens E6; No. 16 Kingsley Road E7; Nos. 49/51 Lichfield Road E6; Loxford Avenue E6 (adjacent to the flank wall of No. 92 Barking Road); No. 76 Masterman Road E6; Nos. 17/19 Morris Avenue E12; Nos. 19/21 Morris Avenue E12; Nos. 48/50 Nine Acres Close E12; Nos. 139/141 Odessa Road E7 (2 wheels on the footway); No. 148 Odessa Road E7; No. 26 Ozolins Way E16; No. 34 Park Grove E15; Nos. 14-30 Plaistow Park Road E13; No. 90 Ravenscroft Road E16; No. 82 Rectory Road E12; No. 283 Roman Road E6; Rymill Street E16 (outside Westland House); No. 41 Salmen Road E13; No. 44 Saville Road E16; No. 74 Sheringham Avenue E12; No. 265 Sheringham Avenue E12; No. 124 Stokes Road E6; No. 142 Stokes Road E6; No. 8 Strode Road E7; No. 75 Upton Avenue E7; No. 9 Walton Road E13; Nos. 93/95 Wellington Road E7
in which only vehicles authorised by the Order may be left without charge;
- 3 The effect of the Prescribed Route Order would be to revoke the compulsory left turn for vehicles from the service road on the south-east side of High Street E15, which lies to the south-west of Hunt’s Lane, into High Street E15 (imposed by the Newham and Tower Hamlets (Prescribed Routes) Traffic Order 1967) and, instead, prohibit the right turn for vehicles from that service road into High Street E15.
- 4 Copies of the proposed Orders, together with documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders, can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London, E16 2QU until six weeks after the date on which the Orders are made or until the proposed Orders are withdrawn, as appropriate.

- 6 Any objections relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing to the Head of Traffic and Transportation, London Borough of Newham, 3rd Floor West, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London E16 2QU. Objections must be made by 29 March 2013 and must state the grounds of the objection. Objections can also be sent by email, quoting the Order title, to: traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk
- 7 Anyone objecting to the proposed Orders should be aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council may be legally obliged to make any comments in response to this notice open to public inspection.
