THE B1248 TRUNK ROAD (SCARBOROUGH ROAD/BRAMBLING FIELDS INTERCHANGE) (DETRUNKING) ORDER
THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR TRANSPORT hereby gives notice that he proposes to make the following Order:
An Order under sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980 which provides that a length of the B1248 Scarborough Road from a point 110 metres south west of its junction with the western roundabout of the A64 Brambling Fields Interchange, to its junction with that roundabout (as shown on Plan: HA/10/NDD/004), shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a classified road as from the date on which the Order comes into force.
COPIES of the draft Order and the plan referred to in it may be inspected free of charge at all reasonable hours from Wednesday 16 January 2013 until Thursday 28 February 2013 at the offices of the Highways Agency, Network Delivery and Development, 3 South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds LS11 9AT, and at the Reception, Ryedale District Council, Ryedale House, Malton, North Yorkshire, YO17 7HH.
ANY PERSON may object to the making of this Order not later than Thursday 28 February 2013, or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, by writing to the Secretary of State at the offices of the Highways Agency, Network Delivery and Development, 3 South, Lateral, 8 City Walk, Leeds LS11 9AT, quoting the title of this Notice and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
