NOTICE OF INTENTION TO APPLY FOR A STOPPING UP ORDER
FOOTPATH AT CORROFELL GARDENS, PELAW, GATESHEAD
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Gateshead, the Highway Authority, INTEND to apply to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Gateshead on the 31st July 2012 at 2.00 pm for an Order under Legislation section: Section 116 of the Legislation: Highways Act 1980 authorising the stopping-up of the footpath located at Pelaw, Gateshead, which runs in a northerly direction from Corrofell Gardens for a distance of 40 metres at an average width of 2 metres and covering 80 square metres, on the ground that it is unnecessary. The draft Order together with a plan, may be examined at the offices of the Strategic Director of Legal and Corporate Services, on the first floor of the Civic Centre, Regent Street, Gateshead, NE8 1HH, Monday to Thursday between 8.45 am and 5.00 pm and Friday between 8.45 am and 4.30 pm (Quote Ref.:TH/890). On the hearing of the application any person aggrieved by the making of the order shall have the right to make representations at the hearing.
